The squeezing of cheeks

We arrived at the gate to drum beats and aa host of singing from those in the orphange and Zuri was right there in the middle. It was absolutely overwhelming. What I mean by that is that we were not able to take it all in - it was just too much. We are realizing a dream. The one that we have watched grow up virtually was now physically in our arms. That is just too much to soak in. I am sorry to say that I cannot put up video or pics because the internet is just too slow here, but will try to do so as soon as possible. Thanks for your prayers and your support - keep praying that everything will go as smooth as possible with the courts.

In other news, Boe slipped walking up the driveway and slashed his knee wide open and so Bob and I took him to the clinic for stitches. The doctor said that she would put stitches in it in America or Eurpope, but not in Africa. The risk of infection is too high. So, she cleaned it up and bandaged it and we will have to keep an eye on it to make sure that it does not get infected. Leia immediately began playing with all of the girls and the animals and has been a delight to everyone she has met, but she extended herself too much and became very dehydrated. Mac is jumping out of skin wanting to go and throw something and has thrown lacrosse with some kids and Jimmy is...well...I think just whelmed with it all.
