We are pacing a little wanting tomorrow to get here but also so excited we have only one more day! We are leaving to go to Kampala at 6 am in the morning which will be 10pm on Tues. night your time (scratch that - we are now leaving at 3:00 p.m. today (Tuesday) because the roads are so bad becauase of the rainy season and we are spending the night at a Catholic guest house (hotel-ish) in Kampala). Our appointment with the judge is at 9:00 here which will be 1:00 am Tues. night your time). If you would like to pray for us that is the exact times if you are a 'round the clock' prayer! Specifics you could pray for....1)that we would find favor with the judge. We packed our best clothes (boys are even wearing ties!) because our attorney told us to look "smart". We have been told it is good that we have our whole family here because it will impress the judge that its important to the whole family. Our intention for bringing everyone was not to impress the judge but if it helps..... 2) to answer the questions well. Our attorney will do most of the talking but if we are addressed, we want to say the right things. I'm not always the best with thinking on my feet so I pray the Lord speaks through us what is in our heart. 3) that the judge would give immediate approval. It is not common but has happened. We would love to have immediate approval because we cannot begin the other things, like visa for Zuri and passport and doctor's visit until we get the approval. If we were to get approval quickly then the other things could be started and we would be able to come home together. 4) that all our paperwork would be complete and go through smoothly!
We also are praying for Zuri. She has a terrible cough. We are trying to see if she needs antibiotics. Thank you for all of your comments! It is so good to hear from people from home. We are reading all of them and being encouraged! We all slept through the night for the first time last night! I think our bodies are finally adjusting to the time change. We love you all and covet your prayers. We can feel them and feel very loved!!

Thanks for the update. You are now in our prayer itinerary. I am so excited to "hear" from you. I/we have/will be checking out this blog daily. Stan@5:14
ReplyDeleteThanks for the specifics! I will be praying for each step to be covered with God's divine will. I'm praying that "being interpreted" means immediate approval - but if not I'm resting in the fact God has brought you thus far then He has great plans for Zuri and all the rest of the Renslow family. I love seeing the pictures, videos and updates. Ashley said last night - I want to be there - so the Turner's are all there with you in spirit. Love, Connie
