Tick-tock

I read so many blogs and facebook posts of people who are anxious the night before court and call upon their community to pray. We add our list to those names. Tomorrow we go to court to be heard by the judge to see if Charlie-Zeke is going to be a Renslow during this trip. I know very well that tonight we could be worried about a million things, but truthfully the things that we often worry about never materialize and the unexpected is what brings the stress and grief. So, we choose to not worry and trust in this moment. We are in Kampala tonight and staying at the Baptist Mission Guest House and we are all in one room-we will just use a positive word - uhm..."cozy." Our proximity and our seeming omnipresence to one another has certainly caused an increase in jokes that have turned to cut downs that have resulted in sarcasm and knit-picking that is beginning to drive the parents crazy! Sorry to burst your bubble if you thought we were not like every other family in the world, but community is difficult I tell you.

We need your prayers, we are asking for your prayers, and we expect God to be with us tomorrow. Despite what happens in court, we are at peace that Yahweh is with us and tonight we rest. Maybe not tomorrow, but tonight we are experiencing Shiloam.  With Shiloam you do not have to experience perfect emotional comfort, but you rest and are at peace in the belief, the faith, and the fact that God is with you and has your best interest in mind-He is in control.

So, it is off to bed and up to play the wait and see if we get heard tomorrow or not game. We will let you know and we ask the Saints of God intercede on our behalf and for Zeke's.
