Wow, what a day of waiting, entertaining the kids, and waiting, waiting, waiting...We showed up at the U.S. Embassy this morning and I waited to get a form. I waited until I had to leave for court. I left without the form. We arrived at court and waited until lunch. We were told to come back at 2:30. We came back at 1:30 and waited. We waited until 4:00 and were told that we would have to wait until tomorrow at 2:30 to be seen by the judge.
Claudia brought Charlie, the matron of the Children's Home, the biological mother's dad, the biological father (neither of whom speak English) with her and now they have travel back to GSF and do this all over again tomorrow.
It was really strange with the relatives there with us. We got along fine, but it was just weird and too much for me to write about publicly.
So, we wait. This is all part of the process here. No agency could help with this, no regular person can avoid things like this happening (an MP could)- it is what you sign up for when you enter this process.
On the bright side, some people left and we have a room upstairs now that the boys will take advantage of tonight. That will leave Gayla and I with the two girls downstairs and they will both have a bed:)
Thanks for walking with us Saints.
