Caroline's Promise Article

We wanted you to know that we have shared a little bit of our journey with Caroline's Promise on their blog and it is posted www.carolinespromise.blogspot.com. They were the one agency to give us a grant and we are very thankful.

African roots blow into town

On Saturday night, we went to a local school and heard the African Children's choir. It was such a sweet time to hear the voices and accents of kids from Uganda. We also met up with some new friends who live close to us (Scott and Erin Littleton) who have adopted two kids from Uganda. Our adoption world is shrinking as we are exposed to many who have also gone down our road and it is encouraging to swap stories. These two children are both incredibly delightful and it is clear that their parents are doing a wonderful job.

Pics I just had to post

I had to get a friend to take this photo on our hike a few weeks ago. Can you believe that she fell asleep as I was walking down the trail? I told the group that she must have felt right at home because it reminded her of the roads in Uganda.

A tender tennessee birthday

Our families in Tennessee had never met Zuri, so we thought that we would invite them over to share in her one year old birthday party.
